Do you wish therapy could be tailored to suit your issues?
Are you looking to try Counselling/Psychotherapy but can't decide what is right for you? Do you wish you could try several different ones, or worry one type alone just wouldn't be enough?
Integrative therapy might be for you. An increasingly popular approach, it combines different schools of therapeutic thought together in a way that suits you personally, and best works to help you find life balance.
What is Integrative Therapy and how does it work?
As an Integrative therapist I am therefore trained in several different types of Counselling and Psychotherapy. This includes Psychoanalytical, Humanist, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies, as well as the increasingly popular techniques of mindfulness.
Therefore I can offer you a variety of theories and tools, depending on what suits you best Integrative therapy is also about integrating you as a person. I will look carefully at how the different parts of you work together - how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical health are combining or clashing.
The aim is not to 'change' you, but to help you find the right balance for you in your life allowing you to become the best version of who you already are.
